Second Motorcyclist has Died From Injuries in Brea Accident

Unfortunately, the second motorcyclist involved in a fatal accident in Brea August 25 has succombed to his injuries.  Reports are not available on the status of the driver of a pickup truck who was making a U-turn across double yellow lines into the path of the oncoming motorcyclists.  He was also injured and removed to a local hospital.

The families of each motorcyclist who has lost their life should consider a wrongful death lawsuit.  Even though the driver of the pickup truck has not yet been cited for the accident or charged in their deaths, the fact is the pickup truck was across their lane, and his actions left them nowhere to go.

After more than 40 years of experience in these cases I can tell you that the success of a wrongful death action is not dependent upon the reports of police at the scene or who was charged.  We have done accident reconstruction, and provided expert testimony in several trials to prove that our clients were the victims of an accident resulting in serious injury or wrongful death.  This case obviously warrants additional investigation, but it will be hard to explain the presence of the truck across the only road available to the motorcyclists.

The families of these two motorcyclists are still in a state of shock and deep grief over the loss of their loved ones.  The last thing they will need is to handle endless insurance inquiries, and battling with insurance adjusters to receive a fair and complete settlement for the loss of their loved ones.  If you have lost someone you love in a fatal motorcycle accident in Orange County I invite you to contact my office for a free consultation at (949)305-1400.

My former clients have shared how much it meant to them to be able to entrust the matter to me, so that they could focus on grieving, supporting one another and recovering from the shock of the accident and adjusting to life moving forward.
