What is the First Thing You Need to Do?
Seek medical attention within 24 hours. Even if you feel ok, it is important to immediately go to the emergency room, urgent care or your own physician within 24 hours of the accident. Many injuries from car, truck and motorcycle accidents take weeks or even months to fully present in terms of pain or limitation of motion. If you do not seek medical attention in the 24 hours after your accident you may never be able to recover for what has happened to you.
