Anaheim Man Injured on Bush Street Dies Later at UC Irvine Medical Center

An Anaheim man injured on Bush Street in the early hours this morning was rushed to the UC Irvine Medical Center, where he succumbed to his wounds.  Fatal accidents and injuries caused by the negligence of another in California can result in a wrongful death case against the person who caused the accident.  For example, when a DUI driver causes an accident that results in the death of another driver or passenger, the family of the deceased victim can bring a wrongful death action against the DUI driver.

Another example of wrongful death occurs when a pedestrian or bicyclist is struck and killed by a motorist.  Fatal pedestrian and bicycle accidents are unfortunately becoming more common here in Southern California.  The combination of the beautiful weather and the number of people out and about enjoying the amenities of the area lead to serious accidents between motor vehicles and pedestrians or bikers.

Wrongful death in Anaheim or anywhere in Orange County can be caused by a variety of things.  In my more than 40 years of experience, I’ve seen cases involving skateboarders, bus and train passengers, pool drowning, explosions and many car and truck accident fatalities that led to wrongful death cases.  The Anaheim man injured in this case may be a wrongful death victim.  If you have lost a loved one in a fatal accident I invite you to call and speak with me personally for a free consultation at (949)305-1400.  I handle all of the communications with insurance companies, authorities and the Court so that the family is free to be present for one another, and to support each other through this difficult time.
