A man in his 30s lost his life in a fatal bicycle accident in Las Flores near Mission Viejo this week. On Monday afternoon the California Highway Patrol (CHP) was called to an accident scene on Oso Parkway between Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita early in the afternoon. A bicyclist (who was pronounced dead at the scene) had been struck by a white pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
