Motorcycle accident in Newport Beach Injures Two Victims

In a motorcycle accident in Newport Beach Tuesday morning of this passed week, two people were seriously injured in a vehicle accident involving a motorcycle and a car. The accident occurred at the intersection of Harbor View Drive and MacArthur Boulevard. The motorcycle rider and his passenger were badly injured as a result of the collision and were hospitalized at a local area hospital for their injuries. As a result of the accident, northbound MacArthur Road was closed for investigation. Our thoughts go out to the injured parties of this accident, and we wish them a speedy recovery.

A motorcycle accident in Newport Beach or throughout Orange County involving other vehicles can often result in very serious injuries for riders. Even with proper safety equipment such as helmet, jackets, and pads, if a motorcyclist is struck by, or drives into another vehicle, the motorcycle rider can be exposed to serious and life-threatening injury.  Motorcycle accidents often lead to severe injuries including broken bones, head injuries such as concussions, and in more serious accidents, internal injuries.

For most major accidents, law enforcement will conduct an investigation to determine the at-fault parties and cause of the accident. However, sometimes police investigative reports can be wrong, or be inconclusive as to the at-fault party. Therefore, never give up hope if you have been involved in an accident, and an insurance company denies liability for the accident. It is always worthwhile to get a second opinion from an experienced attorney to review your case.
