Roll-Over Car Accident in Santa Ana Causes Multiple Injuries

Four people including two women and two children were hospitalized due to a roll-over car accident in the city of Santa Ana. The accident occurred in the afternoon near the intersection of North Bush Street and Santa Ana Boulevard when a Jeep SUV collided with a Toyota sedan at the intersection. The impact of the collision caused the Jeep SUV to roll over trapping the individuals in the car. Orange County Fire Authority crews had to help to rescue the woman from the over-turned vehicle. All four of the individuals involved in the crash were transported to a local area hospital in critical condition for serious injuries to be treated.

Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV’s) are frequently involved in roll over type accidents due to their high frame and unequal weight distributions. Unfortunately, roll-over accidents can be very catastrophic and cause serious injuries. Individuals that are not properly wearing safety-belts can be ejected from the vehicle’s windows and sustain massive injuries.
